Easter is a holiday when it is difficult to refrain from eating dishes that are tempting not only with taste, but also with appearance. However, there is also a way - you can reduce the weight of the dishes to be less caloric, and then go ahead and try them! How to slim down the Christmas menu?

Easterthis is not the best time forslimming- eggs in mayonnaise sauces, platters of cold cuts and sausages, fatty sour rye soup or heavy and caloric mazurkas with the diet have nothing to do. However, it is enough to think about the selection of recipes, and then cooking and baking, to make the table look festive, and yet different … Different, because it is less fat and calories, but just as tasty.

Easter diet: mayonnaise on the censored

The first culprit responsible for the excess calories at Easter breakfast is mayonnaise. We generously add it to eggs and salad dressings. However, you don't have to give up mayonnaise, which gives egg dishes a distinctive flavor, you just need to mix it with natural yoghurt in a ratio of half and a half.

We slim down Easter salads

As with eggs, we do it with salads. The sauce, if it has to be mayonnaise-based, always mix the mayonnaise with lean yoghurt. The taste will not suffer, and it will be a little easier on our stomach. However, if you have a choice - choose light sauces based on olive oil (e.g. vinaigrette).

When preparing Easter salads, choose those without yellow cheese, lots of eggs or high-calorie peanuts or fatty bacon. Forget salads with pasta, potatoes or rice! We can choose from as many vegetables as lettuce, Chinese cabbage, broccoli or cauliflower, which you can eat in any quantity without harming your weight.

Meats for Easter - yes, as long as you are lean

On Easter, the tables are bent under the platters of cold meats, which, like eggs or sour rye soup, are part of the Christmas tradition. Choose those low in calories and fat - poultry cold cuts are leaner than traditional ones. From classic meats, choose sirloin, lean veal ham or pork loin - avoid pate, bacon and salami - because these are real caloric bombs.

For żurek, if you really have to - you can eat the sausage, but cooked as lean and long as possible (but separately!) So that it meltsas much fat as possible from it.

Easter pastries in the light version

There is no shortage of wonderful cakes during Easter - baby cakes, mazurkas, poppy seed cake break the toughest characters! Unfortunately, they are also very calorific and difficult to digest. However, if you want to keep the line, avoid them from a distance, and prepare a lighter cake that will satisfy your desire for a sweet, e.g. sponge cake with fruit, a jelly dessert is also a good idea.
