I am the mother of one year old Cornelia. At 6 months of age, the baby got a protein flaw (apparently), she gets special milk, no products containing lactose. Sometimes she goes down, sometimes not, and now even spots popped up on her hands and feet, not to mention her face. She has terrible cuts because it itches and scrapes her and makes her worse. Is it possible that she is allergic to another product? I will add that I use ointments prescribed by a doctor. As far as I know, allergy testing cannot be done until the age of 3.

If symptoms persist despite lactose elimination and treatment, it is very likely that you are allergic to some other ingredient (e.g. food). Unfortunately, many allergy tests are actually of limited value in such young children, so the most appropriate would be a consultation with an allergist and an attempt to eliminate another potential allergen. Yours sincerely
