I grabbed my top seven and got adrenaline nerve anesthesia, but then I had a headache and I couldn't feel the whole half of my face. Overall, I felt bad. For what purpose is such an injection given, can everyone and do they need to do some tests, e.g. of the heart?
The type of anesthesia is decided by the doctor before the procedure and it is difficult for me to judge on the Internet why he made such a choice. Adrenaline is an additive to most (not all) anesthesia used in dentistry. Its role is twofold. Firstly, by constricting the peripheral blood vessels, it reduces potential bleeding (the surgical field is better visible, which means that the operator can perform the procedure more precisely). Second, as a result of the first, it prolongs the anesthetic (anesthetic) effect of the anesthetic. Thus, we can give a lower dose of anesthesia to achieve the same effect. There are cases when the administration of such agents is not recommended: pregnancy, people with heart problems, hyperthyroidism, diseased adrenal glands, and many others. Each time we administer anesthesia, the doctor is obliged to ask the patient about their he alth condition - to take an interview. Only on the basis of an interview, physical examination, and planned surgery, the doctor decides which drug to use. You don't really need to do any research. Unfortunately, the ailments described by you often happen. They result from the release of adrenaline into the bloodstream. A full assessment can be made by a doctor only in the office, during consultations. Unfortunately, it is not possible via the Internet.
