A week ago I found out that in my left kidney, in the upper pole and in the left adrenal region, I had a cyst measuring 8x6 cm with reflections inside. I have a computed tomography ordered, for which I have to wait quite a long time, I don't know what to do next? Should you wait calmly for this tomography or go to the hospital? I do not know if such a large cyst is not dangerous, especially since I feel pain. At first it was pain on the right, now on the left. I have only felt these pains for six months, since the birth of my baby. Before, I never had any pain, I have no idea where this cyst came from?
The presence of a cyst of this size can be painful. Computed tomography will more accurately assess the cyst itself and the kidneys, a detailed description of the cyst will be important for further treatment. If it is a big problem for you, surgery and removal of the cyst may be indicated.
