I am 25 years old, 5 years ago I was beaten and as a result I was taken to the hospital, where after examinations I was diagnosed with a traumatic cataract and an injury in the central part of the lens. If I focus my eyes on the TV screen, I can see everything around like a fog … Should I consider surgery?

Cataracts - clouding of the lens - prevents good vision. If it is a traumatic cataract (the disease usually develops naturally in the elderly), the condition of the eye should be carefully assessed. This means finding out what has been damaged and to what extent as a result of the injury. If at the moment only the post-traumatic cataract is responsible for the poor vision, then surgery should significantly improve vision. If there are other additional elements - it depends. You just need to undergo an appointment that qualifies for cataract surgery.
