I am 36 years old, I have noticed for a long time that my problem with the correct utterance is getting worse. Sometimes I feel as if I am retreating in this regard. I am afraid to speak up because of it, so as not to forget what I want to say on the way, or to forget individual words, or to stutter. Sometimes it also happens that I combine several words at the same time. I have no problem with spelling or understanding many things. I was wondering if stress was the cause of such problems, but I cannot find a clear connection because there are moments when I am among my loved ones and still feel like a simpleton. It makes me unable to convey information in such a way as not to make enemies. I don't know where to go for help, and I don't know if anything can be done about it.

To make a diagnosis, I would need a lot of additional information, including such as whether there are grounds for whether or not they really may be nervous disorders, because it may actually be the result of long-term stress that you do not even feel at present. Another issue is what kind of work you do, how often, a lot and with whom you have to talk to every day. This is also very important, because when we speak, we practice our speech, and therefore the more we talk, the greater the possibility of correcting the facts. I would suggest visiting a speech therapist or psychologist, he should dispel your doubts. There is certainly something that can be done about your problem, you just need to know its causes.
