I have had slight pronunciation problems since I was a child, since 2008 I have been practicing nursery rhymes for children, with and without a stopper, and I have been practicing facial articulation for a year. The pronunciation has improved, but I still have difficulty speaking. I have great difficulty pronouncing cz, sh and j correctly. There are days when I speak clearly and as if I would like to, but I am generally dissatisfied with my diction. I don't even know how to describe it, it feels like this "stiffness" in speaking, as if I have to use all my strength to say something correctly. I also practice the diaphragm, so I don't know what the problem is.
The problem is probably in poorly chosen exercises. In the case of articulation defect, there is no need to perform diaphragmatic breathing exercises, because in this case the respiratory tract does not affect the articulation. You are already practicing with words and sentences, but you do not have the correct realization of individual sounds set. It is necessary to visit a speech therapist, because the problem does not concern diction as such, but a speech defect that needs to be eliminated. The speech therapist will give you appropriate exercises, the articulation should definitely improve after them. I advise against using online advice, as it does more harm than good.
