eWUŚ, i.e. Electronic Verification of Beneficiaries' Eligibility, allows those who are insured to use the services of the National He alth Fund without unnecessary formalities. How to check at eWUŚ if you are en titled to free medical care?

eWUŚis an abbreviation - the full name of the system isElectronic Verification of Beneficiaries' Eligibility . Checking whether eWUŚ allows you to use NHF services free of charge is very easy.

Checking permissions in eWUŚ step by step

  • you enter your PESEL number in registration
  • you confirm your identity with one of the three documents: ID card, passport or driving license
  • in the case of a child covered by compulsory schooling (up to 18 years of age), show the current school ID

If your premiums are paid correctly, your data will be displayed in green, if there are any irregularities, the system will mark you in red.

When you pay contributions and you are not in eWUŚ

This can happen if your employer has not registered you for insurance at all and has not paid your premium. However, the most common problem in connection with the introduction of eWUŚ is not informing the employer about family members who should be reported for he alth insurance or, for example, a newborn child.
If you are displayed in red and you know that contributions are paid, you can take advantage of the free NHF benefits based on:

  • certificates from the workplace,
  • ZUS certificates,
  • pensioner ID,
  • or RMUA print.

If you do not have any documents with you, you can declare that you are insured. In the declaration, you will need to provide your name, surname and PESEL number. If you do not state the truth, the National He alth Fund will demand reimbursement of the costs of treatment from us.
If you have insurance, but you have not been checked in an outpatient clinic or hospital, or you are not in the system at all, you can file a claim with ZUS (or KRUS) or with NHF. You can also clarify any doubts by calling the NFZ helpline, tel. 800 800 805.
