eWUŚ or Electronic Verification of Eligibility of Beneficiaries is a system that allows you to immediately determine whether you are en titled to he althcare services financed from public funds. Thanks to eWUŚ, you do not need to have any certificates with you, but only a document confirming your identity and PESEL number.

SystemeWUŚ( Electronic Verification of Beneficiaries' Eligibility ) records every change immediately, because data is entered into it every day.

Who is in eWUŚ?

Data of persons en titled to treatment financed from public funds, i.e. paying he alth insurance premiums, are entered into the eWUŚ system. Electronic Verification of Beneficiaries' Eligibility contains data of full-time employees, people receiving unemployment benefits, people paying contributions for business activity, pensioners and family members of insured persons (registered for insurance): spouses, children, grandchildren and grandparents (if they do not have their own insurance title).

How to check if you are in eWUŚ?

To check if you are in eWUŚ, just enter your PESEL number in the registration and confirm your identity with your ID card, passport or driving license, and in the case of children covered by compulsory schooling (up to 18 years of age) with a valid ID
If your contributions are correct, your details will be green. If not - the system will give you a red card.

When eWUŚ gives you a red card

If you are displayed in red in the eWUŚ system, it means that the National He alth Fund has not confirmed your en titlements. When you know you have the right to them, you can confirm them by:

  • presentation of a document confirming the right to benefits,
  • submitting a written declaration of en titlement to benefits,
  • and presentation of an identity card, passport, driving license or school ID in the case of a person under 18 years of age.

Of course you should also clarify the matter with your employer as soon as possible.
