Katarzyna Bosacka knows what she eats - also when she is on a diet. He knows what he is buying because he always checks the labels. In addition, he moves a lot and trains in the gym. But not only because of that she lost weight and rejuvenated …

- A recipe for youth? He althy diet! For me, it is the most important thing, because for years I have been dealing with it professionally: I write books, run programs, etc. He althy, i.e. one that is based on the smallest possible amount of processed products, such as chips, cookies, broth cubes and all the crap we have in supermarkets - in my opinion it is not suitable for eating. A he althy diet is also one that is based on local products. Seasonal of course! My children accepted it. And they liked it! - saysKatarzyna Bosacka .

The second thing that rejuvenates us is a happy relationship

People who live in them - and this is confirmed by scientific research - have 30% more antibodies, for example in the blood. It is known: if a person has a positive approach to life, he looks at the world more favorably and does everything to survive each day in the best possible way. And thanks to that, he gets sick less! And even if something catches him, he recovers faster. But when he gets up in the morning and feels lonely, sad, his state of mind affects the whole body, weakens the immune system. You have to find "something" that will make us "feel happy". It may be an interesting job, a new passion or the fact that you are needed by someone - and we will welcome each day with joy. And when we smile often, more endorphins are released, which effectively improve immunity. Unfortunately, we Poles tend to complain and get up with our left foot. We blame the bad mood that the weather is bad or that the neighbor smiled crookedly. And when he bought himself a new car, we also have reason to be jealous! There is an internal venom in us, we spit it, and it is not good - also for ourselves, because it poisons our blood. And the one who is bitter, still puffed up and unhappy in his puffiness, lives worse and shorter lives. You also need to get a good night's sleep. It was no coincidence that Coco Chanel used to say: "sleep is the best cosmetic".

When it's season for asparagus, strawberries and fresh herbs, I don't buy imported avocados and oranges. And in winter, I give up hideous imported tomatoes or cucumbers, eat pickles and roast thembeetroot, even for breakfast.

Third thing - you can't live without movement

Before the war, an average resident of Warsaw was doing 6 km a day on foot. How is it today? From home to car, from car to office, from office to shop, from shop to car, and from car to home. This is now - more or less - the physical activity of the average Pole. And I think this fact is beginning to reach us, because we can already see more and more people running or simply marching. I've been going to the gym for years. I know it is hard to believe because I am a classic apple and I have a big "gut" after four pregnancies. I train at least twice a week, sometimes even four. I ride a bike for 10 minutes and watch TV or read a book or overdue newspapers. Then for half an hour, sometimes 45 minutes, I work on an elliptical cross trainer, and another 15 walk on the treadmill. Sometimes I still sit on the oars. I make sure that these exercises last at least 45 minutes.

So how is it possible that although I eat he althy and move a lot, I was a "meatball"?

Because I didn't know I had a sick thyroid! This year I am turning 44, so I thought: "Probably a man in his forties feels like this: he is still sleepy, tired, he is starting to gain weight". When I did the tests, it turned out that I have greatly exceeded all my thyroid hormone levels! Since I have been taking the medication, in 8 weeks I have managed to lose 8 kg, even though I do not see a huge difference in my menu. It still has groats, vegetables, lean meat, fish and everything I've eaten so far. The only thing I gave up was alcohol, I don't even drink a drop anymore. I am talking about this because many Poles are unsuccessfully testing various miracle diets, and it turns out that at a certain age in losing weight, the key is to go to the GP and ask him for a referral for basic tests. In my case, it was the thyroid that was to blame, but someone may have, for example, the onset of diabetes. It is also worth weighing on a medical scale, measuring BMI and girths: in the thigh, hips, abdomen, waist, breasts, biceps and calves. I move very intensively, so I have a lot of muscles, but… I have already lost 12 cm in my stomach and 2 cm in my calf! It's impressive. And it really motivates me to continue fighting!
