Hello. I was recently vaccinated against HPV (1 dose, the second is planned in 2 weeks). I've been taking birth control pills since yesterday, and I'm planning my first time on Friday, but of course also using a condom. On Friday, it will be the 4th day when I take the pills + a condom and I have a question: what is the probability of getting pregnant (I am very afraid of it and I do not want to, that's why I started taking pills from yesterday) and will HPV vaccination cause any side effects? Let me add that the days of my menstrual cycle are 25, 26, 27, 28 of each month. Thank you for your help. Ewelina
Good morning! Please remember that the first pack of contraceptive pills you take never completely protects you from getting pregnant! Vaccination against HPV usually has no side effects, and if it were to, it would have already happened. In addition, the first dose of the vaccine does not fully protect you against possible HPV infection. Regards
