I am a young person satisfied with my life. I have no special problems either in my private life or with my he alth, yet I have had trouble sleeping for two months now. It happens that I normally only sleep two nights during the week. I was at my doctor's, I did some tests - everything is fine. My doctor advised me to get sleeping pills without a prescription, but they don't help. Which doctor should I go to for help? I can't live like this anymore.

Sleep problems vary widely. It is not possible to say with certainty from your information what kind of trouble is happening to you. Whether it is a question of falling asleep, waking up, depth of sleep, etc. These issues should be considered before any treatment is undertaken. There is a sleep disorders clinic in Warsaw, I do not know if this is also the case in Bytom or Silesia. You can probably check it on the Internet - because you can find everything there. If you don't find one, maybe go to a psychologist with a clinical specialization, preferably a he alth clinician, and talk to him about your problem. There may be a specific cause that you cannot diagnose yourself, but it does exist. If there is a problem, then there is its cause - it cannot be otherwise. As a last resort, go to a psychiatrist for a consultation - it's nothing terrible, and they also deal with such issues. Just don't let yourself be persuaded into aggravating pharmacotherapy right away, because there is no need to panic right away. Regards, Tatiana Ostaszewska-Mosak
