I have been bleeding for a long time during intercourse, which makes me very embarrassed and very worried. I am under the constant gynecological supervision of several different doctors, but no one sees the cause of the bleeding. I regularly do cytology once a year and have been in group II for years. I am a 34-year-old woman, married, I have one child (8 years old). Recently, I underwent a transvaginal ultrasound, which also reportedly showed no harm. In general, I am he althy, I have no other ailments such as vaginal discharge and others. I dared to write to the Lord because I am completely missing the idea of what to do next and who to go to, since the three doctors I visited cannot find the cause, and when I was bleeding, I am still bleeding. I will add that I use hormonal contraception. I am asking for an answer and direction as to what I should do as I already lack ideas.
The cause of bleeding may be inflammation of the cervix, as well as the cervical canal - it is worth having a colposcopic examination. I hope that the Pap smear test was performed with the use of special brushes for taking swabs. In some cases, such bleeding may be caused by the contraceptive you are taking.
