You don't have any blusher on hand? Use lipstick! Is the eyebrow pencil dull? Reach for the eyeshadow. Make-up cosmetics has more uses than you think. We present 11 ways to use popular cosmetics in a different way than they are intended for.
It turns out that multi-functional products are already in your cosmetic bag. Just use your imagination to avoid carrying an army of makeup products with you, which is especially important if you are going on a trip or just going to work and you don't want to carry a bag that is too heavy. 1. Lipstick as a blusher
Just apply a little pigment with your finger just above the cheekbones and rub gently. It is better not to paint the cheeks directly with lipstick, as it can be damaged (if it is a stick lipstick) and the effect will be too intense. The key is the color of the lipstick. Only highly pigmented pink and red lipsticks, both glossy and matte, will work as a blush. You can't repeat this trick with lip gloss because it is too sticky.
2. Lipstick as an eyeshadow
Option with cream eyeshadow - only for brave people. To make up the eyelids, use a permanent lipstick with a high degree of density, so that it sticks to the eyelids easily, but also stays on them for a long time. It's best to put the lipstick on the eyelids with your fingertips, but do not rub it.
3. Eye shadows as eyebrow pencil
Brown and beige will serve as a shadow or eyebrow pencil. As in the case of a traditional eyebrow eyeshadow, the cosmetic aims to fill in the gaps between the hairs, so it is good to reach for a shade in the appropriate color and shade. You can apply it wet or dry with a brush or applicator. Shadows with glitter particles and metallic shadows will not work in this role.
4. Eye shadows as blusher
Any pink, red and orange shadows can replace the blusher. You will need an oblique brush to pick up a little of the cosmetic and brush it on both sides of your cheeks as always.
5. Eye shadows asbronzer
The same can be done with brown eyeshadow to replace the bronzer and contour the face. You can use glitter and metallic eyeshadows if you like the light-reflecting effect on the skin. Clean your slanted brush or reach for a clean one and highlight the cheekbones.
The eyeshadow and blusher have similar compositions and a similar level of pigmentation. The shadows tend to be drier and denser, but if skillfully applied to the cheeks, they will be unrecognizable. Unfortunately, they are usually packed in small containers, which makes it difficult to apply with a large brush.
6. Eye shadows as a highlighter
The easiest way to use the eye shadow in an original way is to use a glittery, bright cosmetic as a skin highlighter. It is enough to apply the cosmetic to the temples and the upper part of the cheekbones with the fingertip.
7. Eyebrow pencil as an eyeliner
The eyebrow pencil can be treated as an eyeliner and it is completely safe. Forget for a moment what the manufacturer wrote on the packaging, grab the crayon and use it to paint your favorite type of line on the eyelid.
8. Blusher and bronzer as a lipstick
Blush or cream bronzer can be used as a lipstick, but only in critical moments. Due to the pigment and texture, you will achieve a good effect. Unfortunately, in some people, these cosmetics can dry the lips, which is why it is not a trick for everyone.
9. Blusher and bronzer as eye shadows
Blush and stone bronzers will work as an eyeshadow. Apply them to the eyelids with an applicator or a brush. The compositions of the cosmetics are very similar, you don't need to be afraid of anything!
9. Lip gloss as highlighter
Transparent or very bright lip gloss with glitter will replace the highlighter for special occasions and crazy evenings. It is best if it is a product with a high degree of durability. Apply it directly on the skin so that there are as many shiny particles as possible.
11. Foundation and cream as BB cream
Many women already use this trick, but it is not obvious yet that the foundation can be combined with a cream. If you want to get out of the house quickly and look fresh, combine two drops of foundation on top with your day cream, and then rub on your face. In this way, you will get your own BB cream in a properly selected color and with your favorite properties.
