Hello, two months ago I was on a visit to the gynecologist to talk about the menopause, or, if necessary, about replacement therapy. I had my last menstruation in August 2016, after doing the appropriate tests, I received the SYSTEN-SEGUI hormone therapy (system 50 patches and systen conti). I present the results of my research FSH (L65) -16.06 PROGESTERON-0.21 PROLAACTIN-13.20 ESTRADIOL- 155.50. My question is: is this therapy really necessary? I put the patches on for the third week, every four days for a few days I wake up at night with a burning sensation and I can't fall asleep, besides I am irritable, I feel anxious, I have three more to the end of one series. What should I do?
Dear Madam, if you feel any discomfort or side effects with the above mentioned hormone therapy, please make an appointment with a gynecologist who will choose a different solution. Replacement therapy is not necessary, but it greatly facilitates the functioning and transition to the menopause.
