I am 46 years old. Until the age of 33, I was an active athlete (endurance disciplines, no pressure on the perineum). Now I am an office clerk and an amateur cyclist (for several years about 10,000 km per year by bike). A few days ago I saw a urologist. Diagnosis: prostate enlargement and inflammation. When I was stressed, I forgot to ask if it was inflammation of the prostate or anus (I have been suffering from spontaneous itching of the anus and erythema of fungi for many years). The urologist assigned me: 1. Dalfaz Uno (I go to the toilet once at night, drink two beers 1 hour before going to bed, I have a stream of urine interrupted at the end since childhood, and "the last drop in my pants" for at least a few, if not a dozen years) 2. oranex (for my inflammation) I haven't felt any discomfort so far. I underwent the tests because of my cycling lifestyle. I am aware of the need for treatment (I am also referred for a urine test). Is cycling in my case inadvisable? I use saddles from the highest cycling and medical shelf (appropriate profile and cutouts). Regards and I am asking for advice.

The diagnosis made by the urologist was most likely related to the prostate gland. Very intensive cycling does not have a very good effect on the prostate gland. The saddle is very important in this case. I hope that the ones used by the Lord do not have a negative effect. I do not know, unfortunately, what your doctor recognized during the examination, but it may be worthwhile to perform a test semen culture after a few days of break.
