I closed the blood vessels around my nose twice. After the first visit, they appeared after 10 days. After the second (after six months) I had a small 5-minute procedure, but after about 20 days, the closed vessels came out again. I followed the doctor's instructions, I did not sunbathe the area of my nose, I did not use any peeling, I applied the cream I received. Is there a chance that the blood vessels will be closed after the third treatment, or is it better to give it up? Especially that the procedure is neither pleasant nor cheap.
Dilated blood vessels, or telangiectasias, can appear on the wings of the nose, especially in people who are often outdoors, are exposed to the sun, and have recurrent colds. Blood vessels should be strengthened with preparations taken orally, e.g. horse chestnut extract - available over the counter at a pharmacy and creams for the so-called couperose skin. Closing blood vessels is a procedure that unfortunately has to be repeated.
