I am 15 years old and wear a camera for the night. I have crooked teeth and a bad bite. If I started wearing the braces longer, e.g. 12 hours at night and additionally 3-4 hours a day, would I speed up the straightening of my teeth? How long can it take? Marcin from Ruda Śląska

It is difficult for me to answer your question exactly. Unfortunately, the description is not sufficient. In my opinion, a fixed orthodontic appliance would be a better solution. The effects of treatment with such a device are amazing and, above all, lifelong! A fixed appliance, depending on the type of malocclusion, is worn for about 2 years. Ask your dentist if such treatment would not be more beneficial for you. I wish you perseverance!
