I get nervous very often, and then I shout at my husband and children, and after all I have a moral hangover, that again my nerves were overwhelmed. I love my family very much and I know I have to do something about it, but I can't handle it. Could the doctor advise me on a golden way to deal with such "nerves" as me?
Do you really think there are "golden ways" to deal with your emotions easily? If they were, why are so many people still having problems, and our lives are sometimes so complicated? Maybe your not-so-realistic requirements are the answer to your emotions? This might be a clue for you. At such moments, a detailed cause and effect analysis should be carried out. Take a look at yourself and your life, ask lots of questions and find answers to them. What are these situations? What makes you angry, how do you react in other similar situations, how is your life and your emotional condition in general? Are you satisfied and fulfilled, if not why, are you stressed, if so what kind? And so on and so forth. No golden means, just solid and reliable research of the causes. And then adapting methods and solutions to the individual situation. You can also start reading such items as - "How To Control Your Anger Before It Takes You" (R. Ellis), "Living With Anger" (R. Potter-Efron). As you understand, just reading it is not enough - to make cookies, it is not enough to get and read a recipe. Whether or not you take any specific steps is up to you.
