In class, I am being ridiculed and abused, of course by the boys. Girls sometimes stand up for me, but it doesn't help. I cry a lot because of them, but that only calms them down for about 2 days. I didn't tell anybody this, neither to the parents nor the teachers, only my friend and the rest of the class know that. Sometimes I have thoughts of suicide. I do not know what to do. I often pray that God would take me to Himself or send me some terrible disease - maybe then they would have some respect for me. I don't know if I should go to a psychiatrist or a psychologist?
I don't think suicide or a severe illness will automatically generate any respect for you. Anyway, are these people so incredibly important and valuable that it is worth giving up their own life or he alth for them? I don't think so either. One piece of advice is - oil it. That someone is making fun of you? And what? Does that define you in some way? Is his opinion true or is it just his opinion? And if someone ever tells you that the sun won't rise the next day, will you believe them right away? This is his opinion and his problem and that's all … I know that it is difficult to listen to unpleasant things about yourself. But it's definitely not worth worrying about. It's not your fault that someone is callous, rude, or just plain stupid. You don't have to be responsible for it. This is his fault, not yours. The sooner you try to show them that it's all over you, the sooner they'll feel like stupid jokes - why bother if something doesn't work? After all, you are probably just mobilizing them with your reaction. However, if you cannot cope with this distance, you can consult a psychologist. Maybe then everything will be easier.
