I have been struggling with recurrent inflammation of the bladder for years. At the age of 17, I was diagnosed with a cyst in my bladder (about the size of a ping-pong ball) and the lesion was removed. Now I am 24 years old and since then I have been under the care of a urologist. Inflammation was mild at first, such as cystitis, but recently I had kidney inflammation twice, which was characterized by pain and a very high temperature. Recurrent e - coli bacteria are still present in the urine. Every time I get an antibiotic that helps for a few weeks, then I feel again when I urinate that something is wrong. I would like to add that I urinate very often during the day, and I am also unable to sleep through the night without going to the toilet. Recently I had a urography which showed nothing except that both kidneys are mobile. I don't know what to do anymore, no one can tell me why the inflammation keeps coming back, and I don't want to take antibiotics all my life. I protect myself with various vaginal probiotics to avoid inflammation and take care of hygiene, but nothing helps.
Inflammation of the lower urinary tract can be caused by a variety of factors related to our inappropriate behavior and bladder dysfunction. It consists of an incorrect posture when urinating, improper supply of fluids in terms of quantity and quality, poor bladder function impeding its emptying, which may also be affected by surgical treatment. For this purpose, it would be advisable to perform a urodynamic examination to assess bladder function.
