When following the Diamonds Diet, you don't need a calorie table or a glycemic index counter. You are to enjoy your meal, not to worry about the amount of bad carbohydrates. If for some reason you broke and reached for forbidden foods, nothing happened. Without harming the entire program, you can return to it the next day. Your daily menu should consist of 60 percent. from carbohydrates, 30 from protein and only 10 percent. from fats. Fruits (except bananas) and vegetables should predominate in the new diet.
