And it may sound strange, but… I enjoy my life even in these worse moments. I experienced mine - more than once I was hit by fate, I fought with a serious illness, etc. - but I learned from it. I realized that I really didn't have time to be sad. And I don't even want to have it! I do not want to complain, regret, or discuss. Life is short, I want to experience it as beautifully as possible. And that's why I don't meet people who have bad energy, or people who like to hang themselves on someone else's shoulder and complain about how terrible they are.
I am looking for contacts with positive people - that is, with those who have a little joy, sense of humor (also about themselves!) And like to work. I also try to be active, if possible, of course. Because if I can't do something, I don't do it. Nothing by force! It is not always worth putting so much effort into your work to break your spine. Because what for? To achieve some kind of delusional success?
Irena Santor: life in retirement
I get on without a lot of things. My needs diminish over time. And I am really happy about that. Which does not mean that I live in extreme spiritual poverty. Oh no! Since I retired my life has become more open. And richer. For 40 years I only looked at him from the bus windows. I worked on piecework, I was obliged to a certain number of systematic performances. I felt constantly tired and tied up. Many friendships have loosened because of my job. Now I have time - so I can cherish these friendships. And it gives me tremendous strength! At last I can go to concerts at the philharmonic hall, to performances at the theater and opera, I can listen to records of my friends. It is worse with reading, because my eyes "flutter", but there are other solutions, such as audiobooks. Today I can do anything. And I don't need anything! This is fantastic. I have the strength and I want to go to the theater, so I'm going. I have the strength and want to meet my friends, so I meet.
Irena Santor: I'm enjoying life now
I want to work - I work. Not? It is not! I just enjoy life in the world. Without a prescription ready for them. I know one thing: not everything that seems tragic to us is really tragic. Not everything that appears extraordinarily wonderful is wonderful. That is why I always try to find a middle ground in every matter. I also listen carefully to my body - it knows best what I need and can ask for its own. I am not interested in any extraordinary aesthetic medicine treatments. No miraculous masks and liniments, despite the fact that the ads say that everyone will rejuvenate after them. Although … if you really want to know, I regularly use the 70+ cream. But no gym or fitness clubs come into play! I do not believe in such "organized" activity - such rigor that I get tired at the gym from 9 am to 10 am. Not! It's not in my nature. As I said, I do what I want. And I live the way I want. And I recommend the same to the readers of He alth. Especially those who are retired. It's a beautiful time …
