  • 80 g water,
  • 200 g of 96% spirit.

Why isn't water alone enough? As we have already mentioned, the resin that is a component of propolis does not dissolve in water!

Preparation of propolis tincture:

  1. Propolis is poured over with a mixture of water and spirit.
  2. Put it back in a dark and warm place.
  3. Shake the mixture at least once a day.
  4. After 3 weeks, the tincture is filtered through gauze, poured into a dark glass bottle.
  5. Store in a dark place.

Propolis tincture - vitamins and minerals

The composition of propolis (bee putty) contains B vitamins, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, zinc, potassium, iron, copper, silicon, calcium, manganese, chromium and magnesium.
