I am currently in my 32nd week of my first pregnancy. I have a gynecologist at the National He alth Fund. I am wondering about the method of pregnancy management, namely: pregnancy diagnosed at 6 weeks, another visit at 8 and 11 (on each vaginal ultrasound), pregnancy card established on 11 and 12 weeks, fetal size measurements. Visits every 4 weeks. I had another ultrasound (vaginal) in the 15th week, and it was only to assess where the placenta is (it was low, but at this stage there is no reason to worry). And that's it (without controlling the position of the bearing). At each visit, the gynecologist only checks that the cervix is not short, asks how I feel and if I feel any movements. I found out if and how everything is developing during private prenatal examinations (the gynecologist saw only the results of the half). On what basis does the gynecologist say that everything is fine? Should I demand an ultrasound? When can I expect KTG?

The question on what basis the gynecologist says everything is fine, please ask him. I can only write in general terms that the development of pregnancy is assessed on the basis of the size of the uterus, the appearance of the cervix, the presence of the fetal heart activity, fetal movements (according to the mother's report), and ultrasound. Ultrasound examinations should be performed during pregnancy at least 3 times. Last in the third trimester of pregnancy. It is more commonly performed as needed, for example to assess the location of the placenta, the weight of the fetus, or the amount of amniotic fluid. CTG before the due date is performed when necessary and during pregnancy during and after the due date.
