Good morning! I'm pregnant. I had my last period on October 23, 2006. The doctor calculated the delivery date on July 29, 2007 using the computational method. Meanwhile, the ultrasound I did on March 22, 2007 showed that I am 17 weeks pregnant. The date of delivery according to USG was set by the doctor for 04/09/2007. I know that since my periods have been very irregular, a correction needs to be made. But my cycle has never been 80 days, which should be counted when considering the date of delivery according to ultrasound. The longest cycle was approximately 53 days. I am concerned about such a large discrepancy. In addition, my fears are heightened by the fact that at the moment I feel very weak baby movements. They are not clear, "point" like in my 1st pregnancy, only more "diffuse". Could you advise me something and calm me down a bit?

The difference between 4-5 weeks of pregnancy between last menstruation and ultrasound is too great and requires explanation. This can be done by the attending physician by ordering appropriate tests and at appropriate intervals. Poor fetal movement may be due to the fact that the baby is still very young. However, if they cause anxiety, see a doctor and explain whether the child is developing properly.
