My son, 7 months old, had nasal lacrimal tubules rinsed. The doctor wrote in the he alth record that both channels are open. He got droplets after the procedure. But after the antibiotic treatment is over, my son's right eye is leaking yellow pus again. Is the tubule blocked and does the procedure need to be repeated again? What is the time interval from the first procedure to open the canal again?
First of all, it should be inoculated for the presence of bacteria. Of course, this can be done by a doctor - ophthalmologist. You can also try to flush the tubules again.
