Swimming in the pool is a pleasure for both mother and baby. However, it is not always safe to go to the swimming pool when pregnant and not everyone can use it. If you are prone to intimate infections, better give up this form of activity.
Swimming, water gymnastics and pregnant swimmingare ideal forms of physical activity for pregnant women, but due to the increased risk of genital tract infections in pregnancy, you need to exercise extreme caution. Agents used to disinfect water blunt most of the microbes that threaten a woman, but not all of them, because these microorganisms mutate very quickly. Meanwhile, during pregnancy, even a minor infection can develop into a serious infection, so it's better not to risk it. It is not known how much chlorine enters the body through the skin, so it is better to choose a pool with ozonated water. The smell of water should not put you off or choke you.
Pregnant with caution with jacuzzi
Doctors warn against bathing in a jacuzzi - bacteria present there are particularly resistant to treatment. Before you start going to the swimming pool, it is a good idea to have a vaginal swab test for culture to check for any development of an infection (it may not show any symptoms). If the doctor determines that your intimate parts are infected, you will have to give up swimming in the pool. This form of recreation should also be avoided by women prone to such infections. He althy people may apply a tampon before entering the pool, which will provide additional protection against germs, but it is not a sure protection against disease. Remember to take it out immediately after bathing - otherwise, instead of protecting it from inflammation, it may cause inflammation. If you have a vaginal discharge, you experience itching or a burning sensation in your intimate parts, however, you should neither use tampons nor go to the swimming pool.

Pregnant at the pool: rules
Do not sit on wet benches and on the edge of the pool (only on your towel). In the locker room, in the shower or on the floor by the pool, wear flip-flops (do not put on someone else's), because it is easy to get infected with mycosis.
When you come out of the pool, shower thoroughly and wipe dry. When you use the toilet in the pool, use a special hygienic toilet seat. It is also worth using one of the preparations that rebuild the proper bacterial flora of the vagina as a preventive measure.
