I have had an ear problem for some time, but I don't know if my ear problems are related to it. Well, I sometimes lose my balance. At work, on a day when I felt quite well, I lost consciousness while walking down the corridor. My daughter was with this incident. She described that I was lying on the floor with my eyes open and had convulsions. After a while, I regained consciousness myself. It was a week ago. I am going to see a doctor, but can you pre-diagnose this situation?

Somehow I do not fully believe in the description of "convulsions". Regaining consciousness and obtaining full logical contact puts the suspicion of an epileptic seizure into a big question mark. It was probably muscle tremors or fainting fits. Perhaps some kind of ear disorder. Balance disorders may be related to the labyrinth. I can systematically suspect a fainting, but on what background, I cannot say. Please contact your doctor, first of all it is advisable to have an ECG test and general biochemistry with morphology.
