My son has this diagnosis plus psychomotor retardation. My son is premature, he choked on amniotic fluid during the delivery, he was under oxygen for 24 hours, he had aspiration pneumonia. The child is rehabilitated, he is sitting on his own, crawling, walks supporting himself on the crib, said daddy, mom said, but he stopped - the psychologist thinks that it will pass, because he speaks a lot in his own way. It's just that while standing, you can see instability in the waist and muscle weakness around the waist. He sees and hears well. It is currently 18 months old. The development lag is discreetly visible.

Cerebral palsy in this case is caused by hypoxia. Therefore, any changes are irreversible, but of course the most important thing is to rehabilitate the child. Constant neurological, psychological and possibly psychiatric treatment is necessary.
