I have a 4.5-month-old baby and some time ago I read an article about parasites on one of these websites about children. I have quite an exaggerated imagination. Since then, I have simply had a schism on this point. I think I have all the possible parasites. I wash everything and my hands every now and then. I just got crazy. I even have pinworm symptoms. I've been looking at my faeces and it looks perfectly normal. When a child has a bad day and his stomach hurts, I think he also has parasites. I'm just terrified of myself. Do you think I need to see a specialist? I used to suffer from neurosis. Maybe the fact that I sit with my baby all day alone makes me go crazy ???
It seems difficult for you to withstand being locked in four walls and being responsible for your baby. You are probably feeding, so it's better not to take any medications. If the feeding is over and these obsessions do not go away - you can try to combat them with medication. But now a visit to a psychiatrist will come in handy to clarify something. This is not a "schiza", it does not pose a risk of mental illness - although it is very annoying. Psychotherapy would also be useful, although there may be time difficulties in finding a therapist and money. Regards!
