Daniel's diet is a 40-day (the maximum time it should be) controlled half-starvation, during which the daily energy dose of meals should not exceed 600 kcal. As the creators of the diet argue, such "fasting" causes that the substitute internal nutrition - the so-called second energy program.

An energized body first begins to remove body fat, which causes weight loss, followed by diseased, damaged tissues, toxins and heavy metals. Thanks to this, it returns to a state of equilibrium and starts to function more efficiently.

Daniel's diet includes low-calorie vegetables and fruits that contain trace amounts of proteins and carbohydrates, e.g.

They can be eaten in any form. You can use horseradish, marjoram or caraway seeds and other fresh herbs to season your dishes. The diet is supplemented with still water rich in minerals, fruit and herbal tea and juices diluted with water.

Daniel's diet - products not recommended

While on the Daniel diet, avoid eating meat, bread, milk, fat in all forms, grains, sweets and more caloric fruits (grapes, bananas). The protein-rich legumes and potatoes should also be deleted from the menu. These products activate external nutrition, which results in disrupting the self-cleaning mechanisms and the feeling of hunger.

Daniel's diet - contraindications

People struggling with diabetes (type I), hyperthyroidism, tuberculosis, adrenal insufficiency, cancer, organ transplant, acute porphyria, depression, advanced heart, kidney and liver failure, as well as women with pregnancy and breastfeeding, and pre-pubertal children.

Daniel's diet - is he he althy?

The Daniel Diet, applied for no more than 7 days, would certainly improve your he alth without creating a nutrient deficiency. However, it takes max. 40 days. If, at that time, a person who is slimming does not take care of the supplementation of vitamins and minerals that come from dairy products or meat (including calcium and B vitamins), their deficiency may occur. There is also a risk of excess fiber in the diet, which can cause diarrhea. People who decide to use this form of cleansing the body should prepare the body in advance. A few days before its introduction, you should, inter alia, give up meat and heavy dishes. Otherwise, the results will be counterproductive.
