The Samurai diet is based on vegetables and fruits from organic farming, gluten-free carbohydrate products, good quality meat and fish, eggs, butter, olive oil, seeds and nuts.
The Samurai diet excludes the consumption of milk and dairy products, sugar, vegetable oils, ready meals, fast food, legumes that are a source of lectins and phytic acid, wheat and grains containing gluten.
The creator of the diet recommends fasting training, eating carbohydrates at noon, restricting eating in the first half of the day and increasing in the second.
Samurai diet: what can you eat?
The following are allowed in the Samurai diet:
- organic vegetables and fruits, especially potatoes, sweet potatoes, Jerusalem artichoke
- good quality meat and fish
