Hello! It is indicated in the cytology that I have inflammation. The gynecologist gave me gynalgin and later solcogyn, because I still have an erosion. My husband and I want to try for the first child after the treatment. Shouldn't my husband be taking any medications as well, such as orungal or diflucan? About 4 years ago the situation was the same - inflammation and erosion, I wanted to go to a freeze, but first I had to heal the inflammation, I got gynalgin, then albothyl and clotrimazolum. And the freezing, however, the gynecologist did not do it properly because the erosion remained. I've never had any symptoms. I heard that if I cure the inflammation and my husband doesn't, I will get infected again, but the doctor didn't write anything down for him.

In this situation, it is worth taking a cervical smear from you and your husband's urethra to check for bacteria and antibiotic treatment, and then perform a follow-up culture to make sure there is no infection. Any infection can cause a miscarriage or premature birth.
