I'm 70 years old. A month ago, on my back - under the shoulder blade, I noticed a swelling. This "tumor" does not hurt and does not grow. Could it be a myoma?

Myomas are benign tumors of the uterus. There may be other tumors on the back - such as lipomas, fibromas, and atheromas. Management of such tumors is based on observation. If the tumor does not grow, does not cause symptoms, the skin above it is not changed - usually no surgical intervention is undertaken. However, if the size of the tumor grows, there is pain or redness of the skin, treatment may be necessary in such cases. The choice of treatment should be made by the doctor who is caring for you. I wish you good he alth.
