What can this prostate test result mean?

Hello, The name comes from the International Prostatae Symptom Score (IPSS) and is a prostate symptom score specially developed by the American Society of Urology's Weights and Measures Committee.

The patient completes a special questionnaire answering 7 questions: how often in the last month he had to urinate, felt incomplete emptying of the bladder, noticed a weak or intermittent stream of urine, was forced to urinate immediately, get up to urinate at night or intense urge to urinate.

The answer scale is from 0 to 5 points for each question, so the maximum total score can be 35 points for very severe symptoms. The interpretation of the results is as follows: 0-7 points are for patients with symptoms of benign prostate enlargement, 8-19 points for moderate symptoms, 20-35 for symptoms of significant intensity.
