I am 24 years old, I had a head injury as a child. I had symptoms of post-traumatic epilepsy. The neurological treatment lasted about 13 years. I've been grinding my teeth every night for some time now, and my husband tells me that. I have read that this is the so-called bruxism, mainly caused by nervous problems or system parasites. digestive (I exclude the latter). How to counteract it (and I don't mean orthodontic inserts) and can it be related to my illness?

Bruxism is more of a disease affecting children, but it can occur naturally in older people. The question is whether there was a parasite test, or do you just exclude it yourself? This must be confirmed. Regarding teeth grinding - I don't think it has any epileptic causes. I suggest using Clonazepam for some time at night, say 0.5 mg for a couple of weeks. Alternatively, please contact me afterwards.
