The Central Patient Registration against COVID-19 starts on January 15, 2022. The National Immunization Program has been divided into four stages. He althcare workers are the first to be vaccinated. Next in line are, among others seniors and teachers. Most Poles are to receive the vaccine in the last stage. Nevertheless, there is one exception! If you are struggling with a chronic disease, you have the chance to get vaccinations at an earlier date. Check the list of medical conditions that are authorized to do so.

Vaccinations against COVID-19 in Poland startedon December 27, 2022and are taking place in a fixed order. The process was divided into four stages in accordance with the guidelines of the National He alth Fund. In the so-calledstage 0vaccinations are used by employees of he alth care institutions, nursing homes and administrative staff of these units.

Inin the first stageinmates of nursing homes, nursing homes, nursing homes and other places of stationary stay will be vaccinated, people over 60 years of age in order from the oldest, service uniforms, teachers, as well as soldiers of the Polish Army, including the Territorial Defense Forces, officers of the Police, Border Guard, Municipal and Municipal Guard, Fire Brigade, TOPR and GOPR employees, who directly participate in anti-epidemic activities and are responsible for national security.

The second stage of vaccinationinvolves people under 60 years of age with chronic diseases that increase the risk of severe COVID-19, or during diagnosis and treatment requiring repeated or continuous contact with he alth care facilities.

You can sign up for vaccinations at this stage from January 15, 2022 , and their implementation will start on January 25, 2022. There is one exception for this group! Ifyou suffer from a chronic diseasethat increases the risk of severe COVID-10 infection,you can apply for vaccination at an earlier date . Before we present the list of diseases that en title to this, let's recall what the other stages of vaccination look like.

The third stage of vaccination ocovers the remaining groups. They will be in itentrepreneurs and employees of sectors closed under the regulations on the establishment of certain restrictions, orders and bans in connection with the occurrence of an epidemic. As part of the third stage, also foreigners (persons with the right to permanent or temporary residence) will be vaccinated due to the work performed in Poland in the groups indicated in stages 0-III.

What chronic diseases qualify for early vaccination against COVID-19?

Earlier, we mentioned chronic diseases that allow vaccination in stage 2. The list of these diseases is included in the National Immunization Program. We read in the document thatthe list was recommended by the Medical Council . Nevertheless, the Ministry of He alth emphasizes that it may be updated with new scientific evidence and information from institutions that evaluate and market vaccines against COVID-19.

So how can you apply for an earlier vaccination date? Patients with comorbidities mayreport to their primary care physician for an e-referralregardless of their age group. In the case of cancer patients, the optimal time of vaccination should be consulted with the doctor who qualifies for vaccination.It is worth remembering that the doctor qualifies for vaccinations based on an individual assessment of the patient's he alth.

  14. Diseases related to nicotine addiction
  15. Thalassemia(discoid anemia)
