I am in the 30th week of pregnancy (the third week), I have never noticed any problems with my legs before, but now, for about three weeks, veins and veins have started to appear on them, sometimes more visible, they are not convex … broken blood vessels on the thigh of the left leg. During longer walks I feel pain in my legs, so I went for a vein Doppler ultrasound and the diagnosis was good (deep and superficial veins, no thrombus, valvular apparatus working), the phlebologist I called told me to come after the puerperium, claiming that I was pregnant with nothing I can do, and besides, the ultrasound came out And I'm worried. Should I apply any prophylaxis?

Despite the lack of ultrasound features of venous insufficiency, the growing uterus hinders the venous and lymphatic outflow, and the change in the hormonal profile makes the venous vessels less flexible and more prone to stretching. During this period, compression tights of the 1st compression class are recommended, put on in the supine position, and in the 3rd trimester, it is safe to take phlebotropic drugs (diosmin). It is also advisable to rest in the position with the legs raised.
