In September last year I had varicose vein surgery. After a few months, I had a new varicose vein on my leg. My leg hurts, my knee hurts - I cannot bend it freely, it makes it difficult for me to walk up the stairs. I can't run or play sports. What to do, or undergo another operation?
You should perform a Doppler ultrasound examination of the venous system and, based on this examination, plan the treatment together with your doctor. Consultation with a vascular surgeon or phlebologist is advisable. You will probably need another operation or sclerotherapy. Without the examination, it is difficult to determine whether your symptoms are related to a venous problem or another disease.
