Currently, I am in the process of preparing for the IVF procedure, I am taking Gonapeptyl injections. This is the second approach, 3 months ago I also had injections, and after the treatment for 2 weeks I was taking Dopoch, Estrofem and Lutein 1000 powders 3 times a day, 3 tabs. Unfortunately, the first time it failed, but the effects of all these drugs remained: I gained 6 kg, my moods go from extremes to extremes (from joy to crying), and the worst thing is the feeling of being so full from the inside, as if something was pushing me from the inside, I am swollen, which makes my mood worse. I am asking for an answer if such symptoms are natural, if they can be reduced in some way, or if I have finished taking all these drugs and injections, I will return to my normal weight (I will add that I do not eat a lot and live actively - I train running), how much it takes time to get rid of these hormones. This is the 2nd and last approach, because the psyche will not withstand another failure, a failed attempt to become a mother.

I would advise you to tell the attending physician about your unpleasant ailments. Symptoms may be related to your medications and hormone levels. If you don't get pregnant (but I'll keep my fingers crossed so that doesn't happen) then everything will surely be back to normal.

Remember that our expert's answer is informative and will not replace a visit to the doctor.
