I work in Germany. At Christmas at home and a month after I came back, I started to have a toothache, bottom five. My supervisor drove me to a dentist who reamed a tooth, prescribed an antibiotic and told me to take it until the swelling was gone. For day 2 I was undergoing a control. He looked at the tooth and said everything was fine and told him to come for a checkup in 4 days. I went. He examined the tooth, gave anesthesia. I thought the tooth would be treated and he pulled it out from me. What should I do now?

First of all, one should consider whether the aching, sick tooth actually had to be extracted. If one dentist starts treating it, and the other believes that the tooth is suitable for removal, the matter should be referred to another dentist for consultation. The difficulty is that the tooth has already been extracted and the patient does not know if it is right. Of course, from a legal point of view, you can bring an action for damages or compensation from the dentist who removed the tooth, but you should have clear evidence that the tooth did not require removal, but only treatment. Recently, a similar case was brought to trial. Five thousand zlotys in compensation and the same amount of compensation - such a sentence was passed before the Lublin West District Court in the trial for a extracted tooth.
