A few months ago I took an additional job as a financial advisor in one of the German corporations operating in Poland. The subject set me up for action and I started to undergo training. I was convinced that I wanted to get involved and be the best in this profession. After less than 2 months, my enthusiasm subsided (I had a few successes - signed contracts with clients) and now I lack any motivation to work. The problem is that the lack of motivation does not only apply to the professional sphere. Both in my professional life (I mean additional work) and in my personal life, I lost my enthusiasm for action. I can't get down to any of the homework, though I know what to do. I feel unrestrained laziness. I am terrified by my attitude and I cannot change it. I want to be an energetic and enthusiastic man again.

The case is too complex and we probably won't solve it here because of too little data. From what you write it appears that it used to be different, that your nature is energetic and motivated. Hope you come back to that then. It would be worse if you wanted to learn it. It is easier to come back to yourself than to change yourself. Another thing is stress and mental fatigue (physical is not as terrible as it seems to us). Since this is an additional job, it means that you are already somewhere else working your eight to twelve hours a day and you have taken that on your head. We have no news as to whether your personal life is going well or not. This is an extra burden on the mind. All in all, it may be that your body is giving you signs that it won't take you so long, that you need to change something. And if you had some nice trainings by good psychologists along the way, they probably showed some system of other values and you fell into the trap called "what is the purpose and meaning of all this". And it's probably about something like that. You have a hard time making decisions - "why do I need all this?". When you find meaning, motivation will come back, and maybe you will find an answer that will mobilize you to change your job, lifestyle, etc. And this also causes you to regain strength and you will start to come back "to yourself" with new enthusiasm. Think about what this is happening to you? What conclusions can you draw from this? What do you experience thanks to this? What are you avoiding What are you a hero? I cordially greet you on this "way toyourself ".
