Although the world-famous protein diet was quickly recognized as unhe althy, its popularity did not diminish at all. So it was changed to continue to be effective, but not harmful. Meet the OXY diet.

The most famous high-protein diet, named after its creator the Dukan diet, is over 10 years old. Its most important principle is the maximum increase in the amount of animal protein while limiting (in the initial phase even eliminating) fats and carbohydrates. The menu thus consisted of dairy products, meat, and later also a small amount of selected vegetables. Unfortunately, such eating had side effects of constipation, headaches, and liver and kidney problems. If used for a longer period of time, this diet increases the risk of developing osteoporosis.

OXY diet - a he althier alternative to the Dukan diet

The OXY diet is a new protein diet that is to be an alternative to the controversial Dukan diet. It was developed in Poland by dietitian Patrycja Mazur. This is a reduced calorie diet characterized by an increased amount of protein. It is supposed to be harmless to the body due to the short period of its use, including proteins of animal and plant origin in the diet, as well as a specially composed shake. There are more vegetables in it, and the most restrictive phase is shorter. The OXY menu is supposed to improve digestion, remove toxins from the body, cleanse the urinary tract and improve well-being. Contrary to Dukan's diet, it is not supposed to cause a yo-yo effect.

OXY diet - stages of losing weight

To minimize the risk of fast, unbalanced diets, slimming was divided into five stages: detox, fat burning, step, balance, and stabilization. Each of them lasts exactly one week. Thanks to this, the body smoothly moves from one phase to the other and has time to get used to new products, and at the same time the most "risky" phase is quite short. The diet can be used alone, but the originator of the diet, Patrycja Mazur, encourages you to visit the website www.dietaoxy .pl, where a psychological test is available to help in choosing a menu, so that the preparation of meals is not too time-consuming and the products themselves meet the individual taste.
