Hello! I am 15 years old and I have been struggling with increased hair loss for two months. I haven't been to the dermatologist yet, but the appointment has already been made. So what is it all about? For the cause of the condition of my hair. Therefore, I will briefly describe my situation: In June I started to lose weight; I weighed over 65 kg with a height of 159 cm. I decided to go on a he althier diet - I removed carbohydrates in the form of sweets, reduced fat consumption and introduced more varied meals with lots of fruit and vegetables. In addition, I moved a lot. It took almost 6 months and I lost 20 kg. I didn't starve myself, but I ate less than usual. I was surprised myself that I was able to lose weight so quickly - I realize that it should take longer, but my well-being and he alth was almost perfect. In September, however, the school year began for me - I took up my studies ambitiously, which unfortunately led me to constant stress related to the lessons. I wonder if that had an effect on my hair as well… In October, I noticed that I had more hair left on the brush and less hair. I did a blood count - all results were good, which excludes anemia and iron deficiency. My diet is he althy and wholesome - again I eat any kind of meat normally, and I occasionally eat sweets. I also noticed that for some time my hands and feet are still cold, which is also a symptom of chronic stress … I have not had my period for two months, which does not bother me - it has always been irregular, sometimes I haven't had it for months. There have been no cases of genetically induced hair loss in the family, so that is also out of the question. As for the loss itself - the hair comes out of the entire head, there are no bald spots or gaps, there are simply fewer of them. I have been taking horsetail for a month and a half, I also took colloidal minerals and biotebal, I wash my hair with Radical shampoo, and I smear my scalp with a treatment with Vichy Dercos. Currently, I have purchased a gelacet which my friend recommended to me. What do you think about it?

You should see a dermatologist. In the case of the described symptoms, it is necessary to conduct a thorough diagnosis in order to exclude nutritional deficiencies and hormonal disorders. Of course, stress can be an additional factor that worsens the quality of your hair.
