Have you heard about Switchel, a beauty drink used by Hollywood stars? If not, it's high time to meet him.
Switchel is a drink that you can prepare yourself at home. It is made of apple cider vinegar, fresh ginger, lemon juice and maple syrup. It is not a very tasty combination, but it is very he althy.
Swietchel is otherwise called a punch. Probably because it gives a good energy "kick". The ginger contained in it warms up, speeds up the metabolism, cleanses and stimulates more than coffee. It also has healing properties - helps with problems with the intestines and stomach, improves blood circulation, relieves menstrual cramps.
Switchel is a source of potassium and electrolytes, and it is also a great thirst-quencher. It has been used for centuries, however, not as a slimming drink, but as a way to quench your thirst. Its preparation is very simple.
What do you need?
- glass of water,
- 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar,
- squeezed lemon juice,
- old ginger root,
- a tablespoon of maple syrup (optional honey).
Mix the ingredients and put the drink in the fridge.
The drink contains pectins, beta carotene and vitamins C, E, P and those from group B. It is also a source of potassium, calcium, magnesium, sodium and phosphorus.
