On Saturday (October 3) in Myślenice there was an extreme run through the Runmageddon Classic Beskidy obstacles. Its winner, Michał Jagieło, needed over 2 hours to overcome over 12 kilometers and 50 obstacles in difficult mountain terrain. Magdalena Szulc, the fastest woman among women, spent half an hour longer on the route. The finish line of Runmageddon, the second in Małopolska, was reached by 962 competitors, out of almost 1,100 who stood at the starting line.
Almost 1100 fans of extreme obstacle running came to Myślenice from all over Poland to take part in theBeskid edition of Runmageddon , which is the most demanding in the whole cycle due to its mountain topography.
The routeRunmageddonu Classicwas led, among others through the forests of the Myślenice Forest District and the area of Góra Chełm and along the Raba River. The greatest fear among the competitors was the "Ta Only" obstacle, a 40-meter long rope connecting the two banks of the river, with the help of which the participants had to cross to the other side. A moment of inattention and the players ended up in the icy water. Only 30 participants overcame the obstacle! The rest had to carry out 15 pen alties "fall, rise" to be able to run further.
The 60-meter slide, which the competitors were sliding down at high speed, turned out to be a lot of fun, and the slide ended in a huge mud pool. Some participants liked such an attraction so much … that they wanted to go back to the top to go down again!
The route of the Saturday run led through hard-to-reach forest areas or a natural landslide on the slope of the mountain. In addition to the natural obstacles resulting from the terrain, the competitors struggled with walls of various sizes, crawled under wire entanglements, lifted tires, and pulled up on ropes. A few meters before the finishing line, they had to face a host of dangerous fighters who turned out to be the combined forces of American football players - Highlanders Beskidy and Pretorians Skoczów.
The fastest rider of Saturday's Runmageddon Classic wasMichał Jagieło , who completed the route in 2:07:14. Among women,Magdalena Szulcfrom Warsaw was again unbeatable, reaching the finish line in 2:32:58. Some riders spent almost 6 hours on the route!

A minimum of 5 points is required to qualify for the Grand Final. The closest opportunity to score missing points is participation in Runmageddon Rekrut, which will take place on October 24 in Zabrze. The new Runmageddon season will start on November 7 in Poznań with the Runmageddon Rekrut edition.
