As I remember, I had a stuttering problem from an early age (I wanted to say something very quickly and then there were these blockages). Now the defect is almost completely gone (that's what others say, you can't hear any speech defect at all). However, I am a very nervous person (often telling myself something, I used to convince myself of my illnesses very intensely) and I see this defect in myself: cuts, fast speech, bad sentence structure, lapses, cutting letters. It tires me a lot, because even the smallest skirmish depresses and reminds me of the past. I think about it all the time, write bad scripts. What to do with it?
I would definitely advise you to go to a psychological consultation. As you yourself have observed, problems come back in stressful situations, so until you learn how to deal with them, it will be difficult to get rid of the symptoms of stuttering. You may need therapy, but this should be decided by a specialist. Speech therapy exercises at this stage may not be effective. If they are necessary, then only at a later stage of the work.
