I'm 50 years old. My problem that I have been struggling with for 7 years is insomnia. I had difficulties falling asleep (3-4 hours), waking up several times a night, now I wake up too early in the morning (3-4 am). The next day I feel terrible, at work I have problems with concentration, memory, and a headache. How to deal with this disease, because sometimes I don't have the strength for anything, and here you have to function normally.
I understand the symptoms, but I don't know what disease it is. Troubles with sleep accompany various diseases, and may also be the result of irrational treatment, non-compliance with the rules of sleep hygiene. I suspect that you are using some sleeping pills unsuccessfully, are they ordered by a psychiatrist? If not, consult him. You can also visit a sleep disorder treatment clinic (in Warsaw at the Nowowiejski Hospital and the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology). Regards!
