I have a son who is 2 years and 9 months old, when he is excited about something, he sees something new, different, he waves his hands like a bird. What is it caused by, does it need to be treated or will it grow out of it?
If your son is a he althy child, don't worry. Children express their emotions in a variety of ways. Gesticulation is an individual matter, and original gestures are much more common in children. Growing up, people observe the ways of expressing emotional states by people with whom they come into contact. However, he does not always reach for all the ready-made patterns and imitate them. Thanks to this, each of us retains our own specific body language, which adds charm to life. I suppose that my son will at some point give up his "invention" when he likes a different way of reacting. A group of his peers will certainly help him in this.
